First read of a bill to set up a fund to cancel interest payments on some loans to Kuwaitis. The government opposed the cost, and renegotiated a less expensive bill with the Assmbly that later passed with government support. The vote was held 19 March 2013. The second read was held on 3 April: it passed with an overwhelming majority.
